Wild have an opportunity to work for a company based in Milton Keynes working as a Health and Safety Adviser. This is working for an established company, offering a great working environment, a good support network and good benefits.

Working as a Health and Safety Adviser you will be supporting deliver and implement policies across the organisation. You will provide advice, and be involved with policy development, risk assessment, inspections along with all thing health and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, review and implement health and safety policies
• Be a health and safety role model
• Provide advice on health and safety
• Investigate accidents/incidents
• Monitor health and safety
• Work with health and safety auditors
• Maintain the intranet on health and safety
• Support with all communication (email, intranet, newsletters)
• Arrange display screen equipment
• Some travel will be involved

Experience:

• It is essential to have worked in a similar role
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of health and safety legislation
• Experience in carrying out risk assessments
• Previously developed policies
• Conducted safety inspections and audits
• Excellent report writing skills
• GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
• NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or NVQ 4/NQ 5 in Health and Safety
• Grad IOSH Membership
