We have an exciting opportunity to lead our new Therapies Hub.
At Ascendancy Partnership Trust our mission is to provide the best possible education and
therapeutic support for children and young people with additional complex needs both in special and
mainstream schools.
We believe that therapies are a vital part of school life, sit side by side with education and are woven
into the curriculum. By leading a team of expert therapists, you will implement an integrated therapy
approach in classrooms which complements our bespoke curriculum. Our therapists will work
alongside teachers with expertise in pedagogy for learning difficulties, autism and SEMH to create
an optimum learning environment in a specialist education Trust.
You will be the senior professional responsible for delivering and managing the therapeutic provision
through the Therapy Hub ensuring that therapeutic strategy adheres to standards that uphold clinical
excellence. You will lead the Therapy Hub to ensure delivery of effective integrated therapy provision
in all Trust schools, thus improving learning outcomes for our students.
With your degree level professional qualification and HCPC registration, you will use your experience
of managing more than one discipline to develop the service at a strategic level. You will need project
and change management skills to coordinate clinical audits, evaluate data, lead working parties,
develop colleagues and deliver an outstanding service.
This is a rare opportunity to use your expertise to make a real difference in a SEND Trust, to
shape a service from inception whilst enhancing your own professional development.
