Job Description

We are looking for a new Head of Student Services to join our ONCAMPUS Southampton centre to lead the Student Services team, working alongside the Centre Academic, and Leadership teams as well as Central ONCAMPUS and other ONCAMPUS centre teams. There will be opportunities to present and deliver new initiatives, evolve existing processes and ensure that student progress is accurately tracked and recorded.

A full job description can be found on our website, but the key objectives of the role are to lead the student services team in the centre to ensure that academic and student data is collected and managed to ONCAMPUS and Higher Education/University partner standards. Whilst assisting the Centre Leadership team in managing the administrative systems and resources to ensure compliance with procedures, policies and requirements of ONCAMPUS and any external bodies e.g., partner university teams, the relevant academic authorities and relevant immigration agencies.

Person specification & experience

• Experience in an administrative position and a record of attention to detail
• An understanding of Higher Education and the needs and requirements of International Students
• Experience of the development and review of information system processes and procedures
• Demonstrate cultural awareness and understanding
• A commitment to teamwork and an ability to allocate resources effectively and efficiently, both human and physical
• Planning and organisational skills and an ability to take initiative within a customer orientated environment
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• The ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work under pressure
