Job Description

As Head of Student Recruitment, your role will involve spearheading the expansion of student recruitment. This includes attracting and enrolling students from various categories such as adult learners, apprenticeships, higher technical qualifications, and degrees. Your key responsibility will be to guarantee a superior customer experience, ensuring a seamless journey for prospective students from their initial inquiry to their enrolment.

The responsibilities of the Head of Student Recruitment will include but not limited to:

• To create and implement a comprehensive marketing plan that aligns with curriculum development and effectively achieves recruitment targets for growth.
• To execute a PR, Stakeholder, and Internal Communications plan that enhances the reputation of the College, ultimately resulting in growth.
• To establish a customer service function that surpasses customer expectations, ensuring exceptional satisfaction.
• To provide an admissions and enrolment service that is fully compliant, efficient, and prioritises a customer-centric approach.
• To implement a strategic approach utilising data and insights to develop a schools liaison and community outreach plan, leading to growth.

The successful Head of Student Recruitment will have:

• Proven track record of working in an educational environment, specifically within marketing, schools liaison, sales, or admissions departments.
• Experience in effectively leading and managing teams in administrative, marketing, PR, or sales roles.
• In-depth understanding of the Further Education sector (or admissions) and its various audience segments.
• Ability to analyse and interpret complex data sets to make informed business decisions.
• Proficient in written communication and adept at conveying information effectively.
