THE ROLE



We are seeking a creative and strategic Head of Social Media to lead our social media team and drive our online presence. As the Head of Social Media, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, enhance engagement with key audiences, and drive traffic to our platforms.





OPPORTUNITIES



Develop and execute social media strategies to align with business goals. Manage all social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, YouTube, X, Facebook) and oversee organic content creation, including posts, stories, and campaigns. Support executives with their social media posts in line with our corporate messaging. Craft our influencer strategy and support cross-collaboration with our partners. Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design, and strategy. Collaborate with the marketing, content, digital and design teams to ensure brand consistency. Drive social media advocacy and social media best practices across marketing, Inside Sales, Sales and the Business Solutions Group. Analyse social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly to optimize performance. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Mentor a social media specialist and an agency retainer.





SKILLS



7= years of experience in social media management with proven experience in developing and executing omnichannel social media and content strategies aligned to business goals, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry. Expert understanding of the mechanics and functionality of major social media platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and X, with knowledge of TikTok and other emerging channels being advantageous. Solid understanding of social media, SEO and web traffic metrics and KPIs. Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Strong analytical and multitasking skills.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
