Job Description

:



Subject to the successful closing of the transaction with Spirit, after obtaining relevant regulatory approvals

The jobholder is responsible and accountable to define, develop and implement Airbus security policies & directives to protect the site's integrity, people, processes, assets including information.


They will have to:


Develop security policies, directives and procedures and support Airbus Company Security tools.


Develop and maintain a Risk register specific to the site and the means and controls to be put in place to appropriately address these.


Develop and delivery of a comprehensive Site Security Plan


Comply with Secret Act, Airport and Maritime Transport legislature and all regulatory requirements as required and with those specific to the site.


Plan and manage the operational security budget at site level.


Plan and/or support all required or requested surveillance (audit) activities for the site.


Centralise the security-related actions and events, and inform the Site Management, the HO Physical Security UK and the Corporate Security of them, and establish and measure the related operating reports including specific and common Security KPIs.


Manage internal security workforce and contract of security suppliers to ensure the adequate level of security of the premises covering in priority preventive and then immediate, reactive measures.


Deploy at site level the Airbus security awareness campaign and extend it to local needs.


Support both "Plant" start of shift and


Support Functional Security Network meetings


Manage deliverables by leading and managing MFTs at the site. Coordinating and engaging security team member resources to deliver task priority and deliverables.


The team structure will have direct reports. However, the leadership approach is one of agility and managing deliverables through people, as this role is empowered to lead and manage.


They must also ensure the site is prepared for the possibility of catastrophic events, or related significant security incidents.





OTHER DUTIES



The job holder will:


Be the site focal point for all physical security matters by being part of the site leadership team, developing stakeholder relationships that enable security subject matter into practice.


Lead and Manage projects and people, directly and indirectly as part of an extended multifunctional team or the security team. Manage task and team prioritisation to ensure the site roadmap is enabled for delivery.


Be intimate with the assets, industrial processes, logistics and supply chain of the site and develop a strong relationship with the site management.


Coordinate all activities with official external agencies to enhance the level of security and fire prevention of the site by aligning contingency, protection and intervention plans.


Ensure that Security activities are managed, and fully compliant with appropriate guidance and resulting processes are in place to sustain security risk management and ensure security events are managed, reported, investigated, assessed (impact and root causes), corrective and preventive actions are taken and recorded.


Plan and undertake emergency and contingency planning exercises. In case of major events/disaster they lead the emergency and contingency first response operations.


Manage and deliver the supplied services covering the activities below as required:


Guarding and Surveillance


Reception and Filtering


Remote Surveillance


Security Administration


Office Security Services and Supplies


Emergency Equipment (extinguishers, evacuation plans, specific equipment)


Monitoring Security Systems Maintenance (Anti intrusion, video, access control, obstacles...)


Transport Security


Promote the awareness of security on the site and in participation and coordination with Company Security awareness activities.


Inspire innovative security solutions working together with security team members to solution, drive deployment, and delivery on time entry into service.

Personally support and adhere to Airbus processes and standards in relation to Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People. You will be invited to Management Workshops and communication briefings, which you will be expected to attend.


Required Skills



You must have/ demonstrate the following skills:


Level 5 qualification in Security management or equivalent experience is essential


A background in security management with commercial or industrial sector experience is essential


Demonstrable application and use of Security Risk Assessments to define mitigation measures is essential


Complementary skills in risk management and emergency planning essential


Excellent communication and organisational skills with an ability to analyse and assess complex issues


English language to native speaker level, other languages would be a plus
