Pebbles Financial Solutions (PFS) is a boutique consultancy working in the pricing and data science space within the insurance sector. We advise our clients on how to get the best out of their data, and how to shape their team and processed around it. Our technical work involves rebuilding pricing algorithms, building predictive models, and engineering data. Our cultural work involves senior management development, building high performing teams, and removing barriers to success.
Last year we have developed a range of data and insight products for UK motor insurance, with plans to expand into Home, Pet and SME at a later stage. These data products use the height of our data science skillset to create unique and innovative solutions for our clients. The products can be used to enhance models, decision making, reduce expenses, and drive significant benefits to volume and performance
The Role
This is a hands on sales role. We are looking for a talented individual to join our team to sell our data products and services. Your day to day will be:
Closing sales.
Identifying new clients and developing existing clients.
Lead the creation of brand marketing collateral.
Creating sales pitch material.
Ownership of the sales pipeline.
Lead on commercial negotiations and developing contracts.
Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers across our clients.
The Contract
On Target Earnings (OTE) of 110,000.
- of which 50% is base salary of 55,000
- of which 50% is target commission (unlimited maximum)
Remote working other than travel to client offices as required (must be within easy travel distance of London).
28 days holiday (+bank holidays).
Pension 5% employer contribution.
Private health insurance + death in service.
The Requirements
The ideal candidate will be well known in the industry, with a wide network of insurance companies, MGAs, and brokers of all sizes.
Proven experience of being able to make sales within financial services, data/software products, or SaaS industries is essential. If you have not made hands on sales with this sort of product then this role is not suitable for you.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with key contacts & decision makers.
Strong negotiation skills and a consultative sales approach, demonstrating resilience and persistence.
High level of organization and the ability to manage a sales pipeline independently.
Able to manage third party supplier relationships that provide marketing & legal support.
Proficiency with CRM systems and familiarity with digital sales tools.
