About Us

Haselbury Mill is a well established wedding and events venue that boasts one of the finest Tithe barns in the South West. Now solely a weddings and events venue, with new investment into our rooms and facilities including a beautiful Get Ready Room, we're seeking a dynamic, personable, and driven Head of Sales & Marketing to convert enquiries into bookings and showcase what makes Haselbury special.

The Role

This is a hands-on, client-facing sales role focused on driving wedding and events revenue. You'll respond to all incoming enquiries, carry out engaging venue tours, build relationships with couples and event clients, and follow up professionally to secure bookings. You'll also liaise with our external marketing agency, with the option to take on more marketing responsibility in-house if you have the skillset.

Key Responsibilities:

Be the face of Haselbury Mill to new clients -- delivering exciting venue tours Respond quickly and warmly to all enquiries across platforms (Hitched, Bridebook, website) Convert leads into confirmed bookings through excellent communication and follow-up Manage the sales pipeline, tracking conversion rates and forecasting performance Liaise with the on-site events team to ensure smooth handover from sale to delivery Oversee venue listings and ensure consistency across all channels Coordinate with our marketing agency on digital campaigns and social media Optionally: take ownership of content and socials in-house if you have relevant skills

You'll Need:

Experience in wedding or events sales, hospitality sales, or venue management A warm, energetic, and confident presence when showing clients around Proven ability to hit targets and manage a sales funnel Strong organisational and communication skills Weekend and evening flexibility (venue tours and shows often happen out of hours) Knowledge of the wedding or similar business

Desirable:

Experience with a CRM system Marketing skills
