Are you passionate about Childrens and Young Adult authors, brands and media?We have an exciting opportunity for a confident, creative, digital-first thinking Head of PR to join our award-winning childrens publishing team.About team/business areaOur PR and marketing teams are organised into 3 audience-focussed hubs across Pre-School, Primary and YA. Joining a team of 13 and working closely with the PR Director & Communications Director and the hub leads in Pre-School and Primary, this role will be responsible for heading up our growing YA list.This role will oversee a list that includes some of the biggest global brands and authors such as Malorie Blackman, Karen M. McManus, Jennifer Lynn Barnes, Bea Fitzgerald, Jenny Han and Laura Steven to name but a few.The roleThe Head of PR will help to support and develop the YA hub team, creating and driving the hub strategy to ensure consumer-first thinking and help lead our strategy in this area of the market.Alongside this, you will be able to plan and implement your own innovative and targeted publicity campaigns which connect with readers for some of our most successful and high-profile talent. You will work hand-in-hand with the Head of Marketing and the social lead for our YA channel, House of YA, to create engaging and creative social content that connects our audiences with our books.You will represent a strong voice in the division and will need to establish yourself as a trusted expert for colleagues and contacts both within and outside the organisation. You will build strong working relationships with authors and agents to provide the highest-level of author care.Key responsibilities:
