An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Professional Services within the School of Humanities.
As an integral member of both the School\'s Leadership Team and the College Professional Services Leadership Team, the postholder will play a lead role in the successful implementation and delivery of the College and School\'s strategy, policies, and objectives, in order to fully achieve key University/College/School goals and deliver improvements evidenced by internal and external measures.
Accountable to the Director of College Professional Services the postholder has day-to-day responsibilities to support the Head of School.
In addition to the general leadership contributions above, the postholder will be responsible for all professional support services to the School including learning and teaching, research, and operational. This currently includes a blend of line management responsibility, direct and indirect, across professional/administrative, technical and operational staff within the School and business partnering with College functions. This will involve setting and monitoring appropriate operating models and service standards, across a wide range of activities, including ensuring appropriate integration with wider College and University services.
This post is full time (35 hrs per week), and offered on an open ended basis.
