An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Occupational and Physiotherapy Services to join our Trust. We are looking for an inspirational Allied Health Leader who has experience within multi- professional setting and be able to demonstrate recent track record of achievement in leading and developing innovative practice in single and multi-disciplinary services.Main duties of the jobThe Head of Occupational and Physiotherapy services will report directly to the Clinical Director of Therapies and provide leadership and strategic direction including developing and implementing standards across Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy which support professional leadership, competence, capacity and standards of conduct.The post holder will have operational management responsibility for, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy service teams based at Central Middlesex Hospital (CMH), Ealing Hospital (EH) and Northwick Park Hospital (NPH). They will also provide ad-hoc support if required Podiatry.The postholder will work closely with the Director of Therapies, operational managers, finance and human resources in the planning and delivery of a complex agenda which drives efficiency safety and quality initiatives across the Integrated Medicine and Therapies Division.The post-holder will be responsible for the delivery of all operational performance targets, ensuring all services are provided within the agreed level of activity, standards of performance, safety, quality and budget. The post holder will also be responsible for dealing with complaints and providing regular performance and quality reports.This post includes overall management of Human resources within the service inclusive of direct line management responsibility four seven senior clinical leads.
