We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Meeting & Event Sales to join our group of hotels, namely the Windmill Village Hotel and Manor Hotel; working over both sites. In this dynamic and challenging role, the Head of Meeting & Event Sales will be responsible for driving and maximising the sales potential of both of our properties. Your role will be to manage all aspects of the hotels sales function; namely weddings & events, food & beverage and golf & leisure, whilst also proactively developing new business. You will also be responsible for building the properties profile within the Corporate and MICE sectors and continuing to position the properties as the hotels of choice in the local market. With a team of executives; you will support, lead and develop them to ensure revenue is maximized and budgets achieved.
This role would be ideal for a current Sales Manager who is working in the same industry, looking to gain an exciting new opportunity. In this role you must be able to manage time and resources effectively, prioritise tasks, communicate openly and clearly, be innovative and have excellent influencing skills. You will be eager, driven and enthusiastic with excellent presentation skills.
