We are currently looking for a Head of Maintenance to join a well established process engineering company.
You will work to develop and enhance our client\'s maintenance and reliability business model to further improve our service capabilities, business growth and technological development of the stream.
You will lead a time of engineering specialists and be responsible for all maintenance and reliability services within the clients Services. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will develop and enhance the maintenance and reliability business model.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
You will have P&L responsibility for all work streams and key accounts in the maintenance and reliability sector of the company.
Full accountability for all maintenance and reliability activities across all customer sites.
To develop a maintenance and reliability strategy that delivers all proactive engineering requirements across our customer sites.
Manage budgets across the stream relating to labour, training, innovation and engineering spend.
Improve communication within the engineering functions and efficient reporting to our customers.
To ensure effective manpower utilisation of the maintenance and reliability stream
Ensure H&S and compliance procedures are followed and maintaining zero LTA.
Key Accounts
As the Head of Maintenance and Reliability Services you will be responsible to ensure all Service Level Agreements and key performance objectives continued to be delivered across all our accounts.
You will be responsible to ensure our teams continue to deliver a high-quality service in line with the Facilities and Maintenance strategic direction, vision and values
Establish and support the management of protocols for the safe and effective performance of the facilities and maintenance segment.
Leadership:
You will lead a team of engineering specialists who deliver condition based monitoring and reliability services across all our customer sites.
You will also be responsible for our on-site teams; delivering out sourced maintenance across our customer sites in Manchester, Stowmarket, Kettering.
You will expected to develop realistic performance objectives through leadership, motivation and performance management to achieve required results.
You will be expected to foster creativity and innovation through leadership.
Member of Senior Leadership Team:
As part of the Asset Care senior leadership team you will be responsible for the development and implementation of maintenance and reliability strategy that supports growth in all sectors in which the business is involved.
Work alongside the other members of the leadership team in setting ambitious yet achievable goals, then managing teams to work towards them;
To ensure transparent consistent communication is delivered through all levels of the business.
Key Attributes:
High level of expertise in maintenance and reliability in hygienic manufacturing industries
A proven track record in leading multi-disciplined engineering teams within a manufacturing or engineering service environment.
A proven track record in developing and implementing a robust PPM and TPM regime
Experience working with clients to develop and deliver cost-effective solutions
Demonstrative experience of leading a maintenance cultural change.
Ideal sector backgrounds but not limited to; manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, logistics, FMCG
