THE OPPORTUNITY: Head of Infrastructure and Support 6 month FTC Based in Purfleet, Essex/Hybrid.

The is a brand-new opportunity to join our fabulous IT team here at Carpetright. We\'re looking for a Customer Centric Head of Infrastructure and Support to be responsible for the implementation and operations for all technology infrastructure which includes Cloud Services, data centre, network and server services, storage, and related software. This is operationally responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, and security for all IT systems and infrastructure.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

• Support the Head of IT in the development and implementation of an innovative, coherent IT strategy and roadmap for the Carpetright and Nestware brand that enables and accelerates business growth.
• Lead, develop, coach, and motivate the Carpetright Infrastructure and support teams, building a high performing team.
• Identify and drive actions to simplify processes and improve the department and company performance.
• Ensure the Group\'s network infrastructure is fit for purpose, correctly specified, and fully supported.
• Own the continuous improvement programme of the company\'s infrastructure, including sharing best practices and problem resolution.
• Provide support to all Customers ensuring resolutions are delivered in line within the agreed SLAs.
• Overall responsibility for all aspects of IT security within Carpetright
• Define, implement, and monitor all the best practices including ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI DSS,

ABOUT YOU:

• Previous experience in a senior IT leadership role covering both infrastructure and Service delivery and managing high performing technical teams.
• Dynamics AX and / or Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations technical experience
• Completed an ISO 27001 and PCI DSS audit.
• Microsoft Azure architecture
• Experienced in dealing with complex, challenging, and dispersed systems.
• Demonstrable track record of process improvement and delivering efficiencies within a change environment.
• Demonstrable experience of technology implementation in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment
• Experience working in a customer centric industry at a similar scale to Carpetright (retail, hospitality) multi-site.
• Customer service focused.
