The Role
In this permanent role of Head of HR Business Partnering and Operations, you will play a vital part in this change journey. With a team of 8, this role will lead the way on the people agenda. You will be responsible for;
Leading and mentoring a team of HR Business Partners and HR advisors, fostering a culture of collaboration, operational excellence, and development.
Driving the continuous improvement agenda across the entire employee lifecycle with a focus on engagement, welfare activities, maximising productivity, devolving HR responsibilities to line managers and building leadership capability
Aligning HR objectives and strategy with the Barbican\'s new strategic framework goals, working closely with the Director of People and Culture and Head of Org Design & Development on various programmes of work.
Manage payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Building strong, trust-based relationship with senior stakeholders and the City of London Corporation.
Management of senior complex or sensitive employment relations cases and a point of escalation for the team surrounding employment law and risk.
Leadership development, strategic workforce planning, recruitment, and other strategic HR projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact within a unique Arts institution, and help mould the future landscape. To be a part of this journey and successful in this role, we\'re looking for a Senior HR Generalist / Business Partners with a collaborative and innovative leadership style, and proven ability to drive change across HR and managing budgets. Chartered CIPD Level 7 is beneficial, however, equivalent breadth of knowledge and experience is of equal merit.
