What your role is

As we transform EUAU we have a strong desire to increase our ambition for the business. To satisfy that ambition we want to be more intentional on how we grow our business through expansion into new category adjacencies utilising our existing portfolio of brands. We have a clear intention to launch and incubate new businesses that can solve problems and/or deliver joy to our consumers.

To enable this exploration, we are kicking off a new initiative to explore these new business opportunities. We are looking for a corporate entrepreneur to lead this work, someone who can bring passion, grit, agility and innovative thinking as they work to discover and execute experiments. They will develop deep empathy for consumers to understand potential demand spaces, develop strategic ideas to meet those spaces, learn in the real-world through experimentation and then ultimately leverage the scale of General Mills to accelerate growth for EUAU.

As we get this initiative off the ground, we are looking for a strategic, passionate, entrepreneurial leader to help us make this ambition reality. The leader, will run an agile and lean cross-functional team that will identify, create, validate, and operationalize new businesses that solve critical consumer problems in categories which are adjacent to the ones we currently serve. They will also work closely with a newly formed EUAU Growth Board (subset of the leadership team) to drive this initiative.

Key Accountabilities

As the Head of Growth X you will:
  • Build a high-functioning, high-performing, flex-resource, cross-functional team, motivated by a common purpose and mobilized to achieve ambitious objectives
  • Leverage agile experimentation to learn fast, at increasingly larger scale
  • Build and validate a compelling business model, continuously refining and tightening key assumptions
  • Define and sell the vision of the expansion, generating excitement and gaining buy-in from stakeholders including, when the time comes, retailers/key customers
  • Hold total accountability for operationalizing all aspects of the business
What you will bring to the team

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the CPG Food Industry
  • Practical innovation experience, with a proven track record of creating and validating / invalidating potential disruptive opportunities through experiments and in-market testing
  • Experience navigating the intersection of consumer desirability, technical feasibility, and business model viability to deliver profitable growth ideas
  • Excellent communication and influence skills
  • Ability to effectively navigate across the organization at all levels
  • Demonstrated willingness and bias to break away from \xe2\x80\x9cbusiness as usual,\xe2\x80\x9d working differently to deliver results
Preferred Qualifications
  • Passion for & experience in one of the following areas: 1) insights/consumer research; 2) business development, marketing, or sales
