What you\'ll be doing:

The Head of Growth, EMEA will have four core areas of responsibility:

  • Prospecting
  • Develop and implement more thorough and sophisticated methods to identify a wide range of potential clients.
  • Manage this implementation personally at a regional level and empower local markets to do similar through useful frameworks and access to data.
  • Pipeline development
  • Design, develop and implement scalable methods to pull identified prospects through the funnel and turn into viable live opportunities. This may involve using systems like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce to facilitate targeted CRM.
  • Contribute, with marketing, to a healthy programme of content development and distribution.
  • Cultivate relationships with agency pitch consultants, auditors, and other third-party agency assignment decision influencers.
  • Opportunity Conversion:
  • When we have live opportunities, either manage regional pitches personally or be present to help local markets improve their chances of conversion through whatever engagement necessary.
  • This engagement may include pitch team identification, identification of competitive differentiators, proof point storytelling, presentation production, collateral creation, written response creation, proofing and editing, management of pitching dynamics, commercial model development and post-pitch closure.
  • Similar to new business opportunities, manage our efforts to sign current clients to significant specialist services deals.
  • Coordinate EMEA business development efforts with GroupM and WPP and contribute to our global pitches as required through whatever engagement necessary.
  • Community Building:
  • Nurture a strong community of growth leaders across all markets in EMEA, equipping them with the tools and techniques they need to develop and convert more opportunities locally and to collectively work as a connected unit to support one another, develop new thinking together and win together.
  • Lead communication and coordination with GroupM and WPP, making our agency top-of-mind for the biggest prospects and placing us more at the forefront of integrated team models.
  • Develop and implement a plan to build a culture of sales within the business.
What you\'ll need:
  • Direct experience of a significant role in new business, sales, B2B marketing or consulting practice with a record of success
  • Naturally competitive with a track record of winning professionally
  • Motivated to play a hands-on leadership role in building new capabilities that will fuel network growth
  • Experience managing complexity, including within matrix organisations and across multiple stakeholders
  • Ideally experienced in major European markets
  • The strength of character to stand ground amongst experienced, senior peers and the gravitas to present, as required, to senior prospect stakeholders
  • Firm understanding of our industry and desire to remain informed and current about the opportunities available for us to take to clients
  • A very good listener who is able to build rapport with clients and consultants and hear them to read between the lines and get under the skin of what is really required to win
  • Fluent business English and outstanding communication skills
  • A fabulous storyteller who can persuade and inspire
