Function

Sopra Banking Software is seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Global Account Sales to join our team. As the Head of Global Account Sales, you will play a crucial role in upselling and cross selling initiatives with our account management team, helping to drive growth and building strong relationships with our global clients. What will the role involve?:
  • The Head of Global Account Sales, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive global customer account growth.
  • You will help lead a team of Key Account Managers, providing guidance and support to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • We expect you to establish strong relationships with senior stakeholders within our customer organizations, becoming their trusted partner.
  • You will collaborate with internal teams to define and deliver on customer commitments, ensuring successful implementation of our software solutions.
  • You will monitor and analyse account performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and taking appropriate action.
  • We expect you to stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations for maintaining a competitive edge.
  • You will be responsible for negotiating contracts and pricing agreements with clients, maximizing revenue potential while maintaining mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • You shall oversee the development and execution of account plans, aligning them with overall business objectives.

Profile

What are we looking for?:
  • Proven track record (minimum 8 years) in sales, account management, or a related field, with experience in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong sales acumen with a results-oriented mindset and a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and motivational skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
  • An individual with extensive experience in sales, relationship management, and a strategic mindset to drive growth, foster client relationships, and maximize revenue from existing accounts.
  • You must have a proven track record in managing client accounts, consistently exceeding revenue targets and driving customer satisfaction.
  • We expect you to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
  • You should demonstrate strong leadership abilities, including the capacity to help build and motivate a high-performing Key Account Management team.
