Head of Fostering Service \xe2\x80\x93 therapeutic and leading fostering agency

Good Salary Package: up to \xc2\xa367,000 + car allowance!

NonStop Care is currently working with a National IFA in the Worcestershire area in order to help them recruit for a Head of Fostering role. This is a child focused fostering agency, a place where children\xe2\x80\x99s wellbeing is put first, which means you would be able to add great value to your work as a Head of Fostering.

Being a therapeutic fostering agency, they have a trauma informed service and their own unique fostering model, so that you can gain new skills in a therapeutic service.

Responsibilities:

They are recruiting for a Head of Fostering to join and lead their experienced and successful team of ops managers, social workers and support staff to ensure that the children and young people in their care reach their full potential.

You will be responsible for leading the team of social workers, offering support and training to social workers with a focus on producing a high performing region, offering operational excellence, financial performance and to effectively deliver the organisational business plan.

You will be working closely with the Assistant Director of Fostering who is focused on finding a real \xe2\x80\x9cpeople person\xe2\x80\x9d who is prepared to manage in a therapeutic and supportive manner with a focus on the potential and ability of the team in place.

Requirements:

To be eligible for this role, you must have a Social Work qualification and registration.

You must have knowledge of fostering regulations and standards.

A car and a valid driving licence are essential to the role.

Management experience in the fostering sector is required.
