The business is a highly successful creative agency working with some of the world\'s most recognised luxury brands. Due to growth, a Head of Finance is sought to lead the finance function located in Manchester.

The Role:

Lead and manage all aspects of the Finance function, delivering insightful, timely and accurate analysis into the activities of the company. Actively participate as a reliable and trusted member of the Senior Leadership team.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this head of finance role will have ownership and autonomy of the Finance function for the business. They will be involved in developing a robust and efficient finance department with a clear strategy and processes. The post is the senior finance role in the business and will assist the with the long-term growth plans.

Duties:

• Support MD in all Financial matters ensuring information is correct and within set deadlines
• Accountable for all Financial matters reporting directly to MD
• Overseeing the production of monthly management accounts and present findings to Senior Management team
• Prepare and maintain annual budgets
• Management of the finance team which is made up of 5 staff
• Forecast and analysis of monthly sales figures
• Prepare Year end sales and profit forecasts
• Compiling quarterly VAT reports and submit to HMRC
• Final reconciliation of monthly bank accounts
• Assist in Companies House updates with support from external Accountants
• Strive to continuously improve the reporting and accounting processes
• Provide recommendations and improvements to assist the business with growth plans
• Take a lead role in implementing change and finance process improvements across the team and wider function, championing and driving continuous improvement
• Ensure a robust financial control environment throughout the business
• Enhancement of existing finance processes, finance systems and procedures to ensure best practice is achieved

YOU:

• A,A,C qualified accountant
• Experience in a leadership role within finance
• Technically strong with commercial excellence
• Strong Excel skills

Hybrid role, Manchester.
