This profitable SME have grown from strength to strength, and are now looking for an experienced, qualified accountant to take the lead on all financial and operational responsibilities. You will play a pivotal role in the future development of the company, working closely with the Managing Director and acting as their financial conscious.

As the Head of Finance, your role will include the following duties:-
-Develop and implement financial strategies, policies and procedures to ensure effective financial management
-Manage the company\'s budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
-Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
-Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing recommendations to senior management
-Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and regulatory compliance
-Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities
-Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards
-Full responsibility for all HR and IT areas of the business too.
To be considered for this fantastic role, you will need to a qualified accountant with experience working within an SME environment. You will ideally have worked for a business that has seen substantial growth and be comfortable reporting directly into the owner.
