This established and internationally renowned architecture and design firm is seeking a Head of Finance to join their friendly, sociable London studio. With a wealth of beautifully designed and well known projects you\'ll be working in a lovely studio but with the opportunity of hybrid working 2/ 3 days at home that will give a wonderful work and home balance. The studio has over 100 people across various disciplines within architecture and design giving you the opportunity to work with leading designers on world class projects across, residential, commercial and mixed use projects.

As Finance Director or Head of Finance you will be reporting directly into the Partners. You will be leading and managing all practice operations on a day to day basis including,

Key responsibilities:-

- Planning and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial forecasts, reports and budgeting activities.

- Including all profit and loss forecasting, making sure there is a live forecast for the years ahead.

- Tracking all performance of the studio and reporting any areas of improvement.

- Lead all core financial control such as accounts payable, credit control and overseeing payroll.

- Understanding cash flow and maximise efficiencies.

- Maintain an up to date knowledge or regulations and best practice.

- Maintain an up to day knowledge of all projects so no issues arise. Monitoring future resourcing issues.

Essential skills are :-

- Fully Qualified Accountant. ACCA or ACA

- 5-10 years experience post qualification

- Understanding and experience of IIA and WIP

- Proven experience working within the architecture or construction industry.

- CMAP an advantage.
