Job Description
Please note: this job is only available to current employees of Lancaster University The Conference and Hospitality team, part of Commercial Services, are looking to recruit a passionate, experienced and highly motivated Leader to join their team in the role of Head of Conference & Hospitality Operations. Reporting to the Head of Commercial & Visitor Services, this role will lead and oversee the delivery of the Conference and Hospitality campus operation, including conferences and events, food & dining deliveries and guest room services and ensure that the department operates in a profitable, safe and customer focused way. Working with other Heads of Service they will work to enhance and continually improve the products and services offered to both internal and external customers, with particular focus on the Academic Event Service and VIP provision. We are looking to recruit a professional who is customer focused with excellent communication skills and a flexible and creative approach. Previous experience in a similar hospitality and conference role is essential. This role is full time and is required to work flexibly including evenings and weekends.
