We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development lead to source and develop investor relationships to support our growth objectives. Reporting directly into the CEO, the ideal candidate will be a pro-active and experienced business development professional with excellent communication skills together with a strong understanding of alternative asset classes and the global institutional investment markets. PartnerRe is a global organization with offices in Stamford, Toronto, Bermuda, London, Dublin, Zurich and Singapore\xe2\x80\x93 there is flexibility as to where this role may be located. Key Responsibilities:

  • Help develop and execute a comprehensive strategy and budget for fundraising into our investment platforms.
  • Establish and maintain dialogues with asset consultants and prospective investors.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, develop and maintain marketing documentation and promotional materials.
  • Maintain CRM system with prospective leads.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to structure and onboard inbound investments, including management of due diligence processes and documentation.
  • Represent PartnerRe Capital Management in investment industry events and conferences to build brand recognition and promote our platform.
  • Monitor investor and investment market trends and provide insights on opportunities for new product design and capital raising opportunities.


Qualifications
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in business development in an alternative investment management context (in-house or placement agency) or asset consultancy role: insurance-linked securities/reinsurance experience favorable but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of institutional investment markets and alternative investment products.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and closing inbound investments.
  • Excellent communications skills, verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, often within tight deadlines.
  • Process driven with strong organizational, analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and extensively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field.
  • CFA and/or CAIA designation.
