The Role:

boohoo Man is currently seeking a Head of Brand Marketing to join the dynamic and diverse team.

We\xe2\x80\x99re on the lookout for someone to guide boohooMAN during another year of high growth. As the Head of Brand Marketing for one of the fastest growing online menswear brands we need your drive, passion and inspiration to help us to stand-out from the crowd.

The Team:

boohoo launched menswear in 2013 and is targeted as \xe2\x80\x98trend-led\xe2\x80\x99 rather than \xe2\x80\x98brand-led\xe2\x80\x99 price conscious consumers aged 16-24. We subsequently launched boohooMAN in 2016, which is home to dedicated content for the menswear market, producing tailored offers and content for the menswear customer, making their shopping experience more personalised and engaging.

As a team we are constantly looking for what\xe2\x80\x99s next, as leaders we go big and show the rest of the market how it\xe2\x80\x99s done. Launching our ground-breaking NFT campaign with unique pieces and exclusive one-offs was a game-changer. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

Reporting into the CEO the Head of Brand Marketing is responsible for the planning, execution and evaluation of marketing campaigns across all categories. Ensuring the day to day operations run smoothly and on time, liaising with all the teams at the various stages of the process \xe2\x80\x93 brand, digital, trade and product, ensuring there is consistency and synergy with all channel owners.

Primary aims and responsibilities:

  • Ownership and execution of the cross-channel marketing calendar in alignment with the product and promotional plan
  • Delivery of impactful and effective multichannel marketing campaigns, on time and within budget
  • Define and agree campaign objectives and KPIs including but not limited to brand awareness and positioning, traffic and revenue, new customer acquisition and retention/loyalty/frequency of purchase
  • Ensure a 360 approach to campaign planning \xe2\x80\x93 Work collaboratively with the Head of Digital Marketing to set objectives and brief to the brand marketing teams per campaign and capsule on clear actions to deliver for launch i.e., new customers, awareness across a key area or customer segment
  • Create and oversee brand marketing plans globally, working with in country managers to ensure local TOV/relevancy is inherent through the campaign
  • Deliver coherent, integrated, and amplified campaigns messages across all channels
  • Ensure activity is planned across all key trading dates from large-scale \xe2\x80\x98brand-moments\xe2\x80\x99 to seasonal campaigns (e.g., Spring, Autumn/Winter), to bank holidays and occasions (e.g. Easter, Valentines), to ad hoc localised events and support for brand partners
  • Referring to published list for product relevance and consistency across all social and influencer activity
  • Relates marketing approach to the size of the opportunity e.g., if an elevated gallery or collection/brand has a significant depth and commercial opportunity what is the 360-marketing approach
  • Analyse consumer behaviour to determine customer profiles
  • Consider different customer segments in marketing \xe2\x80\x93 always asking who we are speaking to and how
  • Assist with generating customer insights, to consistently monitor any changes in customer profiles and behaviours alongside the insights team
  • Support and implement advertising campaigns to drive key collection/brand and seasonal launches
  • Work alongside the creative, product, ecommerce and studio teams to manage all imagery shown across all brand channels, ensuring continuity and a seamless customer journey across all touch points
  • Ensure brand tone of voice and language is consistent across all brand channels from site to emails, website, social media and packaging
  • Work alongside the product teams to understand upcoming collections, product focuses and deliver relevant launch/campaigns with a 360-marketing view
  • Manage the briefing and end to end delivery of all partnerships from brand to product and talent collaborations
  • Reporting alongside the finance department to analyse all marketing activity to report, review and identify weaknesses
  • Management of the brand & digital marketing budget
  • Directly manages the Brand & Marketing functions i.e., Social Media, Copy and Content, Influencer Marketing and PR
  • Working alongside senior leadership to ensure assets are created for all touchpoints and campaigns.
  • Own MAN\'s partnership marketing, identifying and building relationships with third party brands to pitch media and campaign opportunities to secure additional revenue and investment for the business
  • Own and implement the business charity strategy, improving MAN\'s brand perception through working with charity organisations to create both impactful evergreen campaigns and short-term partnerships

More about you:

Skills and Experience:
  • Ability to manage multichannel marketing plans and achieve success through cross functional working both within the marketing team and across the wider business
  • Ability to manage significant yearly marketing budget and be comfortable making regular changes as and when desired by the company
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with all key business departments e.g., Buying & Merchandising, Design, E-commerce, Creative & Studio, Brand and Digital Marketing, Procurement, Warehouse, Legal, IT, Customer Service to ensure smooth execution of all projects
  • Experience in a brand and/or marketing operations like-role, preferably within high-turnover B2C online fashion or retail business
  • Strong working knowledge of multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Ability to lead and develop leadership skills within the Team
  • Ability to work internationally, supporting overseas team members
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Exceptional organisational and time-management abilities
