Build the water industry of the future

As part of our Water Recycling Operations Team this role is accountable for the success of TOTEX investment across our business streams to deliver our ODI performance within and beyond our current AMP cycle.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing:

You will be working alongside our senior leadership teams to define investment strategy and priorities, formulating investments plans and designing and assuring the delivery required to meet our business outcomes.

You will be responsible for orchestrating a smoother and easier business decision flow at each stage of the asset management process and take responsibility for defining the plan for our delivery of business outcomes.

You will manage the overall business risk with a long-term view (25 years) considering our asset health and performance.

The key activities and responsibilities for this role are:

• Developing the investment strategy and business plans for the Water Recycling Business Stream.
• Developing the Price Review investment plan and acting as the focal point for the relevant price control elements and subsequent Price Reviews for Water Recycling.
• Delivering the Water Recycling portfolio investment needs as defined in AMP business plans and the PR plans.
• Achieving clear and challenging targets linked to environmental, customer and shareholder needs pertaining to Water Recycling.
• Leading and coaching the core Water Recycling ADP team.
• Providing clear line of sight from Business stream strategy to inform direction of operational activities
• Liaison with key operational areas to ensure that operating model principles, plans and assumptions are being implemented on the ground throughout the entire asset lifecycle.
• Ensuring that key lessons learnt are fed back into the asset investment process from across the entire asset lifecycle to continually improve the holistic approach to the asset lifecycle.
• Incorporating the AWS strategic and business requirements into the Water Recycling portfolio business plans.
• Establishing the governance and decision-making framework for Water Recycling assets and ensuring these are embedded into the evolving overall governance and decision-making framework.
• Comply with Health & Safety and wellbeing requirements and encourage a Health & Safety and wellbeing culture across the Water Recycling alliances

What does it take to be successful?

Experience in operational or asset management processes in the Water Recycling business with evidence of delivering strategic goals

Demonstrable experience of Water/Water Recycling processes

Evidence of portfolio management and the ability to assess risk and be future focused

Significant experience in a senior operational/management role with evidence of coaching stakeholders/team to deliver

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Ability to adapt, challenge and change - disrupt our way of thinking for the better

Financial acumen \xe2\x80\x93 understanding balance sheets, cashflows and the regulations that we are bound by
