You are an E-Commerce Management Accountant looking for your next career move with a high prolific 30 years +, fashion retailer that is growing rapidly. Your role will expand with more responsibility and hours leading to a full-time position. You are a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA practioner with a minimum of 3 years experience with a British Fashion company that has an international B2C e-commerce trade. You must have experience of quarterly VAT submissions and Y/E to trail balance. You need to be highly organised and experienced in accounting especially with cross border transactions where there are complications to do with different charges including shipping, duties, VAT and complexities around foreign currencies and 3rd party charges for collection of money. You MUST have direct relevant experience having working with an online retailer preferably in the Fashion industry and be familiar with rules about cross border trade into Europe and the rest of the world. You will reconcile takings (including Physical & online store), against sales reports on a monthly basis. Your duties will be to manage the accounts department including all submissions to HMRC. You must be able to work to deadlines, be highly organised and methodical, IT and tech literate, have a great command of excel, be highly numeric & analytical, have great attention to detail, be a team player and have a very high command of the English language. Experience of Payroll would be useful but not essential as we have have someone already.
