Head Housekeeper
Job Description
We are actively seeking a Head housekeeper to join our team.
Successful candidates must be able to work as part of a team, show leadership skills and be a capable and well organized cleaner.
They will be responsible for cleanliness throughout the hotel and guest bedrooms. Alongside making sure the rest of the hotel is clean and tidy.
General duties:
- Responsible for a team of 4/5 housekeepers also ensuring that any maintenance issues are reported, keeping track of stock and ordering of all supplies for this department.
- Ensure that checks take place for each room to ensure that it is cleaned to the highest standard and confirm all of the necessary items are in the room.
- Maintain a good pace to ensure the rooms are ready for check in time.
- Cleaning of general areas e.g. reception, function suite and bedrooms
Qualifications
Extensive janitorial experience ensuring cleanliness and hygiene Background in hotel operations to understand guest needs Ability to lead and manage housekeeping staff effectively
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
