About the Role:

As Head Dental Nurse, you will be responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring the highest standards of infection control, patient care, and team coordination. You will work closely with dentists, therapists, hygienists, and reception staff to ensure a seamless patient journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and support the dental nursing team Oversee compliance with WHTM 01-05, and cross-infection protocols Assist with clinical treatments (chairside when required) Manage stock control and equipment maintenance Conduct staff training, inductions, and performance reviews Support both NHS and private treatment workflows
Requirements:

GDC registered Dental Nurse Minimum 1 year of dental nursing experience Previous leadership or senior nurse experience desirable Excellent communication and organisational skills Strong knowledge of clinical governance and HIW compliance Up-to-date CPD including safeguarding, BLS, and infection control
