As a confident leader you will carry the responsibility of our venues kitchen, taking it to the next level of business success. Our expectation of our Kitchen Manager is to ensure the standards of our kitchen and food quality is upheld, you're accountable for all aspects including managing a highly productive team and ensuring our customers are handed a banging burger and lip-smacking dessert every time they come, leaving with a 5Big Licks taste in their mouth.
We are looking for a high energy and dynamic Kitchen Manager to join the Big Licks team. Your roles will include but not limited to:
Roles & Responsibilities:
Day to day running and managing of the restaurants kitchen.
Consistent evaluation of your kitchen targets ensuring targets are achieved, gross profit margins maintained and overall accountability for reducing wastage.
Submit ongoing venue reporting to Big Lick's, including staff progression and H&S.
Ensuring a 5food is delivered to every customer on each visit.
Delivering a safe restaurant conforming with local authority and Food Safety Standards maintaining a standard by completing checks, week on week.
Run a smooth stock system, placing daily and weekly orders to ensure the venue has full menu-availability at all points.
Ongoing evaluation of the businesses staffing needs including creating efficient staff rotas and scheduling.
Ongoing hands-on training and development of your Big Lick's team, ensuring staff are cross trained and highly knowledgeable in all areas to achieve a 5Big Lick's service.
Become a brand ambassador, bringing new Big Lick's ideas to the table and creating a culture where staff are proud to be a part of your Big Lick's venue.
Requirements:
Previous experience in the restaurant industry, running a kitchen and managing a successful team.
Knowledge & passion for the Food & Beverage industry.
Leadership qualities, confident in your abilities and able to lead by example directing a team to thrive under pressure delivering 5Big Licks food & service.
Previous experience with staff retention, ongoing training and out of the box team building.
Competent and confident in both written and verbal English.
