Responsibilities
Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring that food is prepared efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication within the team.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maximise profitability.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Monitor kitchen performance, providing feedback and support to team members as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices in hospitality and cooking.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Excellent culinary skills with the ability to create diverse menus.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising and managing kitchen teams.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food production processes.
