Position: Head Chef Location: Par, Cornwall Salary: Up to \xc2\xa340,000 per annum

: We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef for one of our clients at a high end establishment near Par, Cornwall. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations and leading a team of talented culinary professionals.

Responsibilities:

Create and develop innovative and enticing menus, aligned with the restaurant\'s overall concept and vision.
Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of performance and adherence to food safety regulations.
Manage inventory, food costing, and maintain optimum stock levels while minimizing waste.
Ensure consistent delivery of quality dishes by monitoring food preparation, presentation, and overall taste.
Collaborate with suppliers to source fresh, seasonal ingredients, maintaining strong relationships to guarantee timely deliveries.
Drive creativity within the kitchen, introducing new techniques, flavours, and culinary trends to enhance the dining experience.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following all health and safety guidelines.
Stay updated with industry trends and continuously strive for excellence, striving to exceed customer expectations.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume establishment.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Excellent culinary skills, with a flair for creativity and passion for delivering exceptional dishes.
Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and suppliers.
