An exciting opportunity to be part of the fabulous Cabana family! Our stunning

restaurant is in need of an Head Chef.

Cabana is the home of the mighty flame-grilled Spicy Malagueta Chicken! Our restaurants are Latin American inspired known for fabulous grills and cocktails delivered in a vibrant, buzzing atmosphere!

We are ideally looking for an

Head Chef

who:

Deliver our core focus; To lift people's spirits & create memorable experiences

Manage kitchen operations, ensuring seamless service and operations

Supervise and coordinate activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation.

Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes, maintaining the high standards of the restaurant

Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, health and safety and cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.

Monitor stock levels, conduct regular stock checks, and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.

Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance and feedback to improve performance.

Manage and oversee a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared to specification

Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and maintaining accurate records

Handle customer feedback and special requests, ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests

Maintain operate and care for kitchen equipment safely, reporting any maintenance or repair needs promptly

Ensure portion control and minimize waste, adhering to cost control measures.

Support with stock management and stock control. Assist in the receiving and proper storage of deliveries, ensuring quality and freshness. Monitor food stock levels and report any shortages or issues promptly

Adhere to portion control guidelines to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency

Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations at all times

Are available full time and flexible to work evenings, weekends, and most holidays

Have a good personality and a positive and enthusiastic attitude

Is consistent and reliable and an excellent team player
