As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food production, cooking, and plating. Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with health and safety regulations. Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor inventory levels and manage food costs effectively. Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Experience

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen management, and food preparation processes. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Experience in menu planning, food production, and cost control. A passion for cooking with an understanding of current food trends and customer preferences. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
