Responsibilities
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Oversee food production processes to ensure high-quality meals are prepared consistently.
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food preparation, and safety practices.
Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients while managing inventory effectively.
Monitor kitchen performance and make adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and quality.
Assist in the preparation of meals during peak service times as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role.
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food production, and kitchen management practices.
Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and preparation.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
