Our employees work together as a team and have the ability to be flexible in their approach, but not with standards. We have a traditional pub feel with a modern twist and we are looking for someone with the passion and enthusiasm to succeed to join us to head up the kitchen.
The suitable candidate will need to take full control of the kitchen to offer good quality pub food, freshly prepared and cooked on site using local suppliers wherever possible.
The applicant will need to continue to offer a range of seasonal specials and be creative in menu design, while ensuring that waste is at a minimum and profit maximised. We want the successful applicant to be creative with menu options and work with us to create seasonal and special menus that the guests return to enjoy time and time again.
Previous experience necessary
He/She will need to coordinate with our General Manager to ensure that the food is served to our guests in a timely manner. They will also be in charge of ordering and dealing with suppliers. Kitchen compliance is key so we would expect expectational kitchen standards. Leading & developing the team in the kitchen will also be a ey part of the role.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience and hours worked.
