Job Summary

The Head, Programme Change will be responsible for leading the overall investment delivery management, alignment and oversight, including quality, cost, governance and resourcing for the HR Transformation Portfolio. This role also included the oversight of the global Change & Enablement team.

Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Works with Global Head, HR Strategy & Digital Transformation, MT/MT-1 level stakeholders on strategic direction, scoping, delivery and benefits realisation of programmes
  • Works with the Transformation, Technology & Operations (TTO) leadership teams to align direction, scope and delivery of the programmes for the overall success
  • Manages the expectations and input of key stakeholders into the programmes
  • Surveys the risk and issue horizon, and in collaboration with Accountable Executives and Global Head, HR Strategy & Digital Transformation takes urgent action and drives to conclusion any items which jeopardise the programmes purpose, delivery and governance
  • Prioritise and manage dependencies across the BAU and entire portfolio landscape and manage stakeholder expectations around the same
  • Ensure outcomes for programme delivery are clear and agreed with Accountable Executives and Programme Managers and measures are in place to track progress
  • Assures the quality of solutions developed across all aspects of the programmes are fit for purpose for the Bank, and the HR function, balancing experience, expected outcomes, cost, benefits and timelines
  • Developing contingency plans and scenario-based options for dealing with delivery and deployment issues and challenges within the programmes
  • Synthesising complex and conflicting information, issues, stakeholder views and creating solutions which optimise outcomes for the Bank. Create alignment across the senior stakeholder population.
  • Conduct complex negotiations with senior (HRMT, MT-1/2 \xe2\x80\x93 TTO, Finance, Risk, Compliance, SCN) stakeholders with conflicting perspectives successfully throughout the programmes\xe2\x80\x99 lifecycle.
  • Provide the strategic direction and ensure a clear implementation framework for our delivery of Change & Enablement (C&E) for all HR services and products \xe2\x80\x93 covering both investment and BAU balancing products and market specific focus.
  • Ensure a human centred design approach is embedded in all aspects of design and design making
Business
  • Works with the Head, HR PMO to manage the resourcing and budget for the programmes across all workstreams, assuring the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s investment.
  • Ensure the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s objectives around resourcing location strategy are fully met when staffing the programmes in multiple locations.
Processes
  • Works closely with the Programme Managers to ensure good quality design decisions are implemented across programmes and aligned to the HR Investment Portfolio\xe2\x80\x99s Design Principles and new Ways of Working.
  • Escalates key risks, issues and dependencies across the portfolio to the Global Head, HR Strategy & Digital Transformation, providing status and quality updates with any remedial actions required
People & Talent

Delivers a \xe2\x80\x98one team\xe2\x80\x99 culture across TTO, HR and 3rd party resources. Sets the standard for and delivers a positive working culture across a new organisation in a high pressure and complex environment
  • Promote and embed a culture of openness, trust and risk awareness, where ethical, legal, regulatory and policy compliant conduct is the norm.
  • Promote and embed the valued behaviours into the ways of working of the entire programmes resource base.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Experience working within Human Resources in the financial industry preferable
  • Experience of leading and working within HR Cloud programmes
  • Experience of working within Big Four consultancy environment
  • Have worked in an international, dynamic organisation
  • A proven track record leading successful projects. Deep understanding of ePMO processes and requirements
  • Strong understanding of complex programmes financials
  • Experience of working with consulting partners, managing scope and delivery
  • Evidence of prior experience managing and influencing stakeholders at Executive/Board level and providing high quality presentations and updates
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking, with operational detail where required to assure quality and problem solve
  • Excellent communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 oral, written and presentation.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to adapt to different styles according to target audience.
  • Demonstrated competency in decision making and problem solving; resource management; conflict management; leadership; and planning, prioritising and goal setting.
  • Ability to communicate complex information to stakeholders, internal resources and 3rd parties
