Head Baker
Job Description
We are a sourdough bakery based in Newcastle upon Tyne with a 10 year history and a team of 30 people!
Our bakery is a 15 minute walk from the city centre and from this location we supply our 3 busy shops and our wholesale customers. We produce a range of sourdoughs, vennoiserie, cakes and savoury products.
We are looking for a head baker to lead our production. You must have experience of the following;
Management of a team and instilling a great team environment
Experience of implementing a HACCP and ensuring Health & Safety
Full understanding of fermentation processes and lamination.
Ability to manage a team and plan output to maximise efficiency and productivity.
To gain an insight of the business in order to drive it forward and maximise potential.
To enable the team to develop our range further.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 27,000.00-32,000.00 per year
