Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts and a love for creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and taste. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety.

Duties

Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes. Ensure all food preparation adheres to food safety regulations and standards. Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones. Assist in the training of junior kitchen staff in baking techniques and food preparation methods. Conduct quality checks on baked products to ensure consistency in flavour, texture, and appearance.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with a focus on baking techniques. Experience in food preparation within a kitchen environment. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Creativity in developing new recipes or enhancing existing ones. Previous experience in food production or restaurant settings is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 32,000.00-40,000.00 per year
