The Hard FM Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting ISS's mission to become the world's greatest service organisation by delivering exceptional service that empowers customers to achieve their purpose.

Central to this role is the provision of a world-class, consistent building maintenance service for stakeholders.

Working on a busy site, this position offers exciting opportunities for growth and future promotion, either on-site or within the wider ISS organisation.



As the leader of the technical services team, the Hard FM Manager will oversee the operations and maintenance team, ensuring the effective implementation of maintenance activities.

Responsibilities include supervising the team in alignment with organisational policies and procedures, covering hiring, training, and conducting staff appraisals.

Additionally, the role involves planning, assigning, and directing work while addressing any complaints or issues that may arise.

This role is instrumental in maintaining high service standards and fostering a positive, efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities



Perform supervisory functions for facility maintenance and utility plant operations Review and evaluate staff performance to ensure quality standards are met; take corrective actions when needed Enforce building operations rules as outlined by the Owner and Account Manager Work with the Facility Manager to optimise staff utilisation and task assignments Assign and monitor Work Tickets and Preventative Maintenance Work Orders Ensure timely completion of PMs and work orders each month Maintain up-to-date Operations & Maintenance Documents, including drawings and manuals Edit and manage SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs as required Maintain organised storage and inventory of spare parts, tools, and service equipment

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications



Experience in a similar FM role overseeing a team of engineers Strong understanding of compliance reports and health & safety regulations Background as a hands-on engineer with a developed technical skillset Proven track record of managing engineering teams effectively Experience in Facilities Management environments
