We are seeking a skilled, reliable and trustworthy Handy Man to join our existing team and help us maintain our growing property portfolio.
The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of skills and be able to perform various maintenance and repair tasks efficiently. This role requires problem-solving abilities, strong customer service skills, and a general can-do attitude.
You will report directly into our in-house Joiner, but you must also be able to communicate well and work effectively as part of a larger team - including our Project Manager and Lettings Manager.
Duties
The role will always be varied, depending on needs, but will largely include:
Basic Joinery Jobs
Basic Painting & Decorating
Property Rip-Outs & Waste Removal
Building & Moving Furniture
Other Basic Repair & Maintenance Tasks
Requirements
Proven experience in maintenance services or handyman work is essential.
Ability to work safely with hand and power tools and carefully follow safety procedures.
Valid training, competency or safety certifications (such as NVQ's, CSCS or First Aid) are desirable. Additional qualifications in plumbing and electrical work are not a necessity, but are advantageous.
Good customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients and coworkers.
Ability to read and interpret plans and instructions.
Transportation and a UK-driving license is essential.
Fluency in English is required for communication purposes.
