We are seeking a talented and passionate hairdresser to join our team. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, ensuring they leave feeling confident and satisfied. This position requires creativity, technical skills, and a strong commitment to customer service. You will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in various styling techniques while contributing to a positive salon environment.

Duties

Deliver high-quality hair cutting, colouring, and styling services tailored to individual client needs. Provide consultations to clients regarding their desired styles and recommend suitable products and services. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client records. Upsell additional services and products to enhance the client experience. Mentor junior stylists and assist in training new team members as required. Stay updated with the latest trends in hair styling and beauty techniques, including makeup application and eyelash extensions. Foster strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and effective communication.

Skills

Proficient in various hair cutting, colouring, and styling techniques. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in front desk operations is advantageous. Knowledge of makeup application techniques is a plus. Familiarity with store management practices is beneficial. Ability to mentor others and share expertise within the team. Skills in barbering are desirable for providing diverse services. Experience with eyelash extensions is an asset. Proven ability to upsell services and products effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 23,121.00-40,000.00 per year
