Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hair services to our clients while creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and technical skills, ensuring each client leaves feeling their best. We currently have a waiting time of 6 weeks to fit balyage/ bespoke colour work in and have customers we are having to turn away on a weekly basis, so it would be a great time for the right candidate to build up a client base with us. The position is on a self employed basis 50/50 split with all stock and facilities included. You will have the flexibility to set your own working schedule however we have a huge demand for evening and Saturday appointments so it would be a huge financial benefit to accommodate this into your working pattern.

Duties

Provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs. Opportunity to perform additional beauty services such as hair extensions, nails and makeup application. Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide tailored recommendations. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety standards. Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries. Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth salon operations and excellent customer service.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients effectively. Proficiency in barbering techniques is desirable. A passion for beauty trends and continuous learning in hairstyling techniques. Excellent customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all clients. Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client appointments.
