Salon Manager / Receptionist / Coordinator

Michael John Guzzon - London (Full-time, In-salon)

We're looking for an experienced, motivated, and highly organized Salon Manager to join Michael John Guzzon, a leading London-based hair salon known for expert cutting, coloring, and premium treatments like Florazzon. This role combines front-of-house excellence with back-office management--ideal for someone who thrives on creating a seamless client experience while handling day-to-day salon operations.

You'll be the right hand to the founder, ensuring the salon runs smoothly, clients feel valued, and the team is supported.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee client bookings, payments, and front-of-house service Manage daily salon operations, including staff scheduling and coordination Handle supplier relationships, stock ordering, and inventory control Assist with payroll coordination and general salon administration Maintain a high standard of salon presentation and client experience Manage client relationships--ensuring regulars feel appreciated and new clients welcomed Support basic social media tasks (responding to messages, appointment requests) Act as a key point of contact for both clients and staff, ensuring smooth communication
What we're looking for:

2+ years' experience in salon management or a similar leadership role in the beauty industry Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Strong organizational abilities and problem-solving mindset Confident with POS systems, scheduling software, and handling payments Knowledge of salon operations: stock management, suppliers, payroll basics A calm, professional attitude with the ability to lead a team and keep the salon running at its best Interest or passion for the beauty and haircare industry is a must!
