Job Description


I am searching for an established Group Treasurer for a Private Equity backed FMCG business based in London. My client is looking for a candidate who can drive the treasury function forward by enhancing automation and transforming current processes / policies. This role will report directly to the CFO. This role will require an experienced Treasurer who has been in a number one role and has relevant sector experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to work for an industry leading business and gain exposure to C-suite and Private Equity.
This budget for this role is flexible and can range from \xc2\xa3130,000 up to \xc2\xa3170,000 basic depending on experience and skill set. They need someone who can commit to being in the London office two, maybe three days a week.
Key responsibilities:

  • Continuous Improvement: Ensure optimisation of the treasury function but driving improvement initiatives through updated best practices, emerging technologies and automation
  • Cash Management: participate in strategic financial planning with day to day cash management and providing cash flow forecasts and insights and recommendations on liquidity. Collaborate with senior management and other departments to align treasury strategies with the organization\'s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Investment Management: Develop investment policies, analyse investment opportunities, and make both short-term and long-term investment decisions that could strike a good balance between liquidity efficiency and investment return
  • Relationship Management: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, specifically maximising relations with the rating agencies, private equity house and partner banks
  • M&A activity: Lead on integration of new business units into the treasury function and ensure smooth transfer of operations post acquisition

Requirements:
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or AMCT qualified
  • Excellent cash and debt management skills are essential
  • Previous Private Equity or FMCG background is a nice to have
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively maintain stakeholder relationships
  • Comfortable operating in a fast paced working environments
