The Glasgow Marriott Hotel is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Group Sales Executive to join our dynamic Sales and Events team. The Group Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in the end to end sales process for assigned group bookings and enquiries. The Group Sales Executive has ownership for the administration of contracted bedrooms on behalf of the hotel. Liaising with sales, events and revenue to support optimum pricing, group ceiling and inventory controls to drive profitable business. Is the key driver of group forecast accuracy for hotel.The Group Sales Executive delivers an exceptional telephone sales experience and adheres to sales and event brand standards for enquiry handling pre and post event. Prepares all group documentation and coordinates with sales, hotel departments, and customer to ensure consistent, high level service throughout pre-event, event and post event phases of hotel eventRecognizes opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding experiences.May be required to support with reactive sales.Main Responsibilities will include:
