This role is based in Maslow's Support Centre, Fitzrovia, with usual office hours of 9am - 6pm, Monday - Friday.


Your new role




You are a qualified accountant with first time passes in all exams, looking to move into industry or looking to take on a Group Reporting Accountant position. Experience within a similar environment would be beneficial but not essential to this appointment. You will report into the Group Finance Director and be part of the finance management team, so the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels is a must.


As the

Group Reporting Accountant

, you will be responsible for the preparation and consolidation of financial results across all business units - including members' clubs, restaurants, and events. You will support the month-end close, cash flow reporting, board pack preparation, assist in budgeting and forecasting, and be a key point of contact for external auditors. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working closely with operational teams to bring numbers to life. There is significant opportunity for the candidate to participate in adhoc projects to support the growth of the Group.


Key responsibilities



Prepare consolidated monthly management accounts across multiple trading entities and cost centres. Ensure accurate intercompany transactions and eliminations across the Group. Monthly and quarterly reporting on Structural Companies for stakeholders. Collaborate with operational finance team to gather financial data and understand performance drivers. Set up processes to monitor and maintain group consolidated cashflows, funding management and scenario planning. Support the preparation of annual budgets and midyear business reforecast in partnership with operational finance team. Preparation and delivery of Group and entity annual financial statements and statutory audit, in coordination with wider finance team and external auditors Delivery of monthly bank covenant compliance reporting in line with commercial debt facility requirements. Support with preparation of Board Reports providing regular financial insight into the performance. Assisting with the setting up of new corporate entities for acquisitions, opening of new bank accounts, KYC information and relevant corporate/ tax documents. Supporting and leading process change programmes, helping to support the Finance Director and finance team to deliver a step change improvement in existing processes and development of new systems of work Coordinate with external investor contacts, outsourced tax specialists, and other third party stakeholders on corporate and Group financial matters

Qualifications and Experience




Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent), newly qualified or with up to three years experience. First time passes is a requirement. Experience in hospitality, leisure or multisite businesses preferred Solid understanding of UK GAAP, FRS102 and IFRS with experience of Going Concern papers, NRV assessments for intercompanies and property valuations. Experience in preparing Group Consolidations Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated experience of effective stakeholder management Strong excel skills including Pivot Tables Experience of working with several accounting systems e.g. SAGE or Xero. Comfortable working in a hands on, fast paced environment.
