The Role:





We are seeking a Group Financial Controller to join our London, UK office. This role will have ownership of all financial reporting, planning processes and controls for the Group. This will include coordination of the administrative, business planning, accounting and budgeting efforts of the company such as the preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and reports required by lenders. The Group Financial Controller will also provide guidance and leadership over related financial matters to the wider company and develop internal control procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.





Key Responsibilities:


Manage, help prepare, review and adhere to timely and accurate development of budgets, financial reports, and models that will guide the CEO & Executive Leadership team in making informed business decisions; Define robust procedures and policies for the business, that are focused on revenue growth internationally; Ensure the company adheres to local regulations and laws; Work effectively with multiple cross-functional staff in a geographically diverse environment; Develop and implement the internal financial controls (including ERP controls) that will create a platform for growth and scale-up; Manage the annual statutory audit and day to day taxation; Provide support to business development activities and competitor and market analysis on ad hoc basis; Develop a strong and relevant network which will help deliver the strategy and build brand awareness; Represent the company in local and international conferences and events; Assess and implement solutions to support company wide operations and provide timely and accurate reporting, reimbursements, etc. Mentor and coach direct reports; Oversee hiring and training of finance staff.




What you'll bring:


Qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA 10+ years post qualification experience including as financial controller in similar sized businesses Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office suite, Excel in particular Experience with SAP By Design is a plus Previous experience scaling an international small company is considered an asset Ability to meet demanding deadlines Demonstrates a thorough understanding of technical fundamentals, methods, and processes Excellent verbal and written communication Analytical ability Sound problem solving and judgement Accuracy and attention to detail Capability to coach and mentor Passion for technology
