Group Financial Accountant

Our client is a rapidly growing international group, backed by private equity, with a strong presence across multiple countries. They are committed to continuous growth through acquisitions and expanding their market presence. The central finance team is based Solihull to foster a collaborative environment with regular interaction with local stakeholders.
ROLE
As a
Group Financial Accountant
, you will be an integral part of the Group Finance consolidation team, managing the consolidation of 40 legal entities across 10 different countries. You will report directly to the Group Financial Controller and be involved in commercial reporting, streamlining processes, monthly and quarterly closing processes, annual audits, and cash flow.
Key duties will also include:
Supporting the consolidation of monthly group accounts and intercompany reconciliations
Supporting the statutory consolidation process under IFRS
Involvement in the yearly budgeting process
Consolidation of 13-week rolling cash forecasts
Analysing monthly trends in local businesses to provide input for corporate reporting
PERSON
We are looking for a self-starter (ideally) with a background in Practice and a professional finance qualification (ACA/ACCA). The role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in complex audits or within a group consolidation function.
Key requirements include:
Strong working knowledge of Excel
Interest in different ERP and consolidation software
Ability to communicate effectively with various sites
Experience in audit, accounting, or consolidation functions
Open to learning and professional development
