We will help you unlock the best version of yourself, achieve growth in your career whilst making a real difference to people and communities.We are seeking an experienced Group Finance Audit Manager to lead the audit process for the Group and UK subsidiaries, including statutory accounting, and other group finance compliance activities.Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the Group's audit process - being the first point of contact for the external auditors, ensuring timely completion, and liaising with overseas subsidiaries
  • Statutory accounts preparation/review (consolidated group, UK trading subsidiaries, holding companies, and acquired entities), including year-end adjustments and all necessary disclosures
  • Acquisition accounting including fair value assessments, purchase price allocations, impairment reviews
  • Involvement in the Group's insurance renewal process, including integrating acquired businesses and ad hoc queries
  • Advising on technical accounting queries and supporting implementation of any changes in accounting standards/policies
Requirements:
  • Strong technical accounting skills with knowledge and experience of IFRS and FRS101, including areas such as acquisition accounting, impairment reviews, complex revenue recognition, and operating lease accounting
  • Experience preparing consolidated statutory accounts
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Motivated and proactive - to work flexibly to achieve deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Team-player and people orientated
  • Strong knowledge of Excel - ability to analyse, report and present data
  • ACCA fully qualified ( or equivalent)
